What you will do
As a Project Engineer at Kenvue, you will play a pivotal role in the design, specification, selection, testing, installation, and qualification of low complexity equipment and associated systems for packaging and manufacturing. Under ongoing supervision, you will lead various projects, ensuring they align with company, corporate, and government requirements. This position involves developing project scope, user requirements, timelines, budgets, and qualification plans, as well as approving equipment and systems specifications and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and approve the design and specification of low complexity equipment and systems for packaging and manufacturing.
- Develop project scope, user requirements, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
- Create and approve qualification plans and documentation to meet regulatory and company standards.
- Manage the receipt and uncrating of equipment, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Update drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and business processes as necessary.
- Engage in site initiatives such as Quality Week and Safety Week to promote a culture of excellence.
- Support the training and onboarding of new team members within and external to the department.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0-2 years of engineering, technical, and/or operations experience.
- Familiarity with equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including wet and fluid bed granulation, solid-dose compression, cosmetic coating, printing, and liquid suspensions.
- Understanding of equipment used in pharmaceutical packaging processes, including solids and liquids filling, capping, induction sealing, labeling, and end-of-line integration.
- Proficiency in computer-based programs, including email, word processing, and presentation software.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Self-motivated with the capability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to take initiative, demonstrate flexibility, and assume leadership of projects as required.
- Proven track record of individual initiative and innovation leading to business results.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Effective time and resource management skills to ensure efficient completion of work.
What’s in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:$61,000.00 - $97,175.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
