Job DescriptionThe Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the client's context and business needs or processes within the framework of medium-complexity projects that may require integration across one or more business areas. They interact with stakeholders, users, and contributors and are responsible for ensuring the overall alignment of projects with business needs and organizational objectives. They identify, design, and recommend business solutions and analyze their impact on the organization. Within projects, they collaborate in defining business objectives, define the scope of solutions, and support the project manager in key decision-making. They are responsible for ensuring the alignment of solutions with business objectives and operational needs. They are also responsible for the end-to-end integration of business solutions, from the business requirements definition stage through to deployment. The consultant works closely with a product manager, business expert, project manager, project sponsor, solutions architect, integration specialist, and agile teams. They are involved in the entire solution implementation cycle and must ensure that all stakeholders understand the solution.
They are seeking an experienced business analyst capable of independently handling medium-complexity projects involving multiple business areas. The role covers the entire lifecycle, from requirements definition to deployment, with responsibility for end-to-end alignment and integration. The client emphasizes cross-functional collaboration: the candidate will work in tandem with project managers, product owners, architects, and agile teams, requiring strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities within an agile environment. The expected experience level is clearly defined: 5 to 8 years in the role, with active participation in agile programs, thus excluding both junior profiles and purely theoretical or management-oriented analysts. The mention of Security as an asset, although in a secondary note, suggests that a transformation or compliance program currently underway at Desjardins could be the focus of this assignment.
