Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction, supporting service evolution, and occasionally assisting in the development of new clients
- Listen to and understand client needs in order to offer services and products tailored to their business reality
- Present payroll services to referred prospects and showcase our solutions through online and phone demonstrations
- Respond effectively to objections and questions while clearly demonstrating the value of the services offered
- Meet individual performance targets as well as team objectives
- Work efficiently with team members, particularly in sales follow‑ups and client meeting coordination
- Adhere to established service‑level standards
- Record all information gathered during calls and throughout the sales process in the provided management tools
- Conduct necessary follow‑ups to successfully close sales
- Coordinate client meetings with product specialists when required
- Participate in various sales, outreach, and promotional activities
- Occasionally facilitate client sessions
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Education or experience in sales, communications, or marketing
- 1 to 3 years of experience selling products and services over the phone
- Experience negotiating and closing contracts within defined pricing and limits
- Bilingualism required (spoken and written)
- Must own a car and be able to travel to client locations
- Knowledge of payroll and HR solutions (an asset)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to work with sales targets
- Autonomous, service‑oriented, and results‑driven
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $40 –$65 . This role is an existing vacancy.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
