Nous recherchons des talents en fiabilité et ingénierie de production (RPE) qui excellent dans le dépannage, l’automatisation et la collaboration interfonctionnelle. Dans ce rôle, nous recherchons des candidats pour travailler directement avec des partenaires techniques et commerciaux afin d’améliorer la fiabilité et la scalabilité des systèmes dans toute notre organisation. Le candidat idéal s’épanouit dans un environnement d’innovation continue et démontre de solides compétences en communication pour articuler des enjeux techniques complexes de manière succincte à des audiences diverses.

Informations Complémentaires*
Le salaire de base pour ce poste variera en fonction de la géographie et d'autres facteurs. Conformément à la loi, le salaire de base pour ce poste s'il est pourvu à Montreal est de 75,000 $ CAD à 80,000 $/an et avantages sociaux (voir ci-dessous).

Responsabilités

  • Diagnostiquer et résoudre des problèmes touchant à l’hardware, le software, l’application et les composants réseau.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes d'ingénierie et de développement pour concevoir, construire et maintenir des systèmes fiables.
  • Conduire des initiatives d’automatisation pour améliorer le déploiement, la gestion et la visibilité des services.
  • Identifier et atténuer de manière proactive les risques liés à la fiabilité des systèmes.
  • Supporter un modèle opérationnel "suivi du soleil", y compris les rotations de garde.
  • Participer à des revues de conception et à des exercices de préparation opérationnelle pour de nouveaux services ou ceux existants.
  • Maintenir une focalisation sur l’amélioration continue de l’observabilité, de la scalabilité et de la performance des systèmes.

Exigences :

  • Compétences avérées en dépannage et débogage pour identifier les causes profondes.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et relations interpersonnelles, capables d’engager à la fois des parties prenantes techniques et non techniques.
  • Bonne compréhension de l’administration des systèmes Linux et des tâches associées.
  • Expérience pratique avec des langages de scripting comme Python, Bash, Perl ou Ruby.
  • Expérience avec des outils de surveillance et d’observabilité d’entreprise comme AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace.
  • Familiarité avec des outils d’automatisation tels que Ansible, GitHub ou similaires.
  • Connaissance des architectures modernes de systèmes incluant la répartition de charge, bases de données, cache, systèmes distribués, microservices et solutions cloud.
  • Expérience pratique dans la support de systèmes à grande échelle et haute disponibilité est un plus.
  • Démontre de la ténacité, un sens de la propriété et une mentalité d’amélioration continue.

Our challenge

We are seeking talented Reliability and Production Engineering (RPE) who excel in troubleshooting, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. In this role, we are seeking candidates to work directly with technical and business partners to improve system reliability and scalability across our organization. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment of continuous innovation and demonstrates strong communication skills to articulate complex technical issues succinctly to diverse audiences.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Montreal is CAD $75k – CAD $80k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues spanning hardware, software, application, and network components.
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to design, build, and maintain reliable systems.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment, management, and visibility of services.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate system reliability risks.
  • Support a follow-the-sun operational model, including on-call rotations.
  • Participate in design reviews and operational readiness exercises for new and existing services.
  • Maintain a focus on continuous improvement in system observability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify root causes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Linux system administration and related tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl, or Ruby.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, GitHub, or similar.
  • Knowledge of modern systems architectures including load balancing, databases, caching, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud solutions.
  • Practical experience supporting large-scale, high-availability systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrates grit, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
