Job description
We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Production Workers to join a fast‑growing seafood processing operation. This is a hands‑on role ideal for individuals who are comfortable with physical work and want full‑time hours.What We Offer:
  • Pay: $19 per hour + 4% vacation pay (weekly pay)
  • Schedule: Full‑time hours, often 6 days per week
  • Shift: 6:00 or 6:30 a.m., working until approximately 5:00 p.m.
  • Contract: Ongoing temporary with potential temp‑to‑permanent opportunity for strong performers
  • Growth: Opportunity for long‑term, full‑time employment
What You'll Do:
  • Work on a seafood production line handling fresh salmon and fish products
  • Cut, clean, trim, season, and marinate fish products
  • Package finished products using a thermoformer (packaging machine)
  • Inspect products and packaging for quality and defects
  • Prepare products for shipment and record basic production information
  • Perform repetitive tasks involving lifting, pushing, and pulling
  • Use tools such as pallet jacks as required
  • Support general production duties as needed
  • Work Environment: Wet, damp, cold conditions
What We're Looking For:
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical work, including standing for long periods
  • Comfortable working with raw fish products in a cold environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform push/pull activities
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are essential
  • Steel‑toed rubber safety boots and bibs required (can be borrowed initially; reimbursement available)
  • Willingness to follow food safety rules, including removal of jewelry and piercings during work
  • Reliable transportation required (location is not on a bus route)
  • Prior experience is an asset but not required—this role is primarily labour‑based and training is provided.
