Job description
- Prepare conceptual 3-D models. Preferably on Solid Works.
- Capable of working on medium/heavy custom designed equipment.
- Able to make occasional site visits to the U.S.A.
- Comfortable with making sales presentations of designed solutions to customer problems.
- Supervisory involvement with site installations.
- Capable of reviewing technical design packages, bills of material, and technical documents.
- Correspond with customers and vendors re detailed requirements.
- Scheduling of personnel.
- Review of department systems and software with an eye to improvement.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
Design Engineering,SolidWorks,Engineering Management
- Capable of managing a department of 5 – 8 personnel.
- 10+ years custom heavy machinery design experience. Steel Industry or Heavy Material Handling equipment experience preferred.
- Professional Engineer designation.
