In this full‑time position as a maintenance operator, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, assisting in the general maintenance, preventative maintenance programs and asset management for the Oshawa Facility. The ideal candidate will work with the preventative maintenance coordinator and Facility Manager to diagnose and troubleshoot day‑to‑day equipment issues and develop maintenance programs, equipment inventory systems, and collaborate with project managers and equipment suppliers/installers. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for responding to emergency and general repairs and maintain a proactive approach towards maintenance directed by the preventative maintenance coordinator and Facility Manager.
Day Shift – Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
The successful candidate will be working 40+ hours per week in a fast‑paced facility setting, be on call for emergencies, and be required to work overtime. Minimal travel may be required for training purposes.
The successful candidate will frequently sit, stand, lift, twist, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
