Norm's Esso been serving the Guelph area for generations, and known for fast, friendly, and honest service. Norm's shop is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled technician who wants to be part of a trusted local business where people enjoy coming to work and customers feel like family.
· You’ll join a small, supportive, and experienced team that takes pride in doing the job right.
· Every day is hands-on and engaging, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles.
· You’ll work in a fully licensed automotive repair environment that values safety, professionalism, and craftsmanship.
· You’ll contribute directly to keeping our customers safe, confident, and on the road.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
· Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
· Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
· Service HVAC, fuel, emissions, and exhaust systems.
· Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer software.
· Complete work orders accurately and on time.
· Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.
Requirements
· Valid Ontario 310S Certificate of Qualification.
· Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
· Experienced and comfortable with working on all makes and models.
· Valid G-class driver’s license.
· A positive attitude and a commitment to quality workmanship.
