Job description
Become an integral part of our Mental Health and Addictions team as a Unit Clerk. This part-time role focuses on enhancing patient experiences through excellent clerical support during varied shifts. Candidates should possess a Medical Office Administration Diploma, or similar qualification. In this position, you will maintain patient charts, support the admission and discharge processes, and accurately manage doctor's orders to ensure seamless operations. Your role will also entail organizing departmental supplies and facilitating medical services for patients in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain comprehensive and organized patient charts • Facilitate smooth admissions and patient transfers • Receive and process doctor’s orders efficiently • Monitor departmental supply levels and reorder as needed • Coordinate effectively with external medical services Requirements: • Medical Office Administration Diploma or equivalent experience • Proven thorough understanding of medical terminology • Experience in transcribing doctor's orders essential • Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel required • Effective communication skills for interaction with patients Play a vital role in our team, ensuring smooth operations while delivering exceptional patient support in a vital healthcare setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
