Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Performance
- Lead the management of Rimrock Banff’s digital platforms to drive qualified traffic, conversion, and revenue
- Execute digital marketing campaigns with the property, Corporate and regional teams, from concept to completion, including detailed performance analysis
- Contribute to the planning, and execution of media buying and strategy, across third-party digital channels
- Partner in strategic planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across paid and owned, with the goal of enhancing reach and conversion
- Lead on developing tactics to optimize earned media results & content partnerships
- Maintain digital campaign budgets, marketing expenses and schedules
- Support copy writing for hotel offers & online campaigns
- Identify opportunities to improve digital funnel performance and reduce dependency on third-party channels
- Communicates the activities of outside agencies to internal operation department on local and in-house advertising campaigns
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Regional and Corporate) to deliver cohesive digital initiatives that support revenue growth, brand integrity, and guest engagement.
- Ensure campaigns are aligned with brand positioning, seasonal initiatives, and business priorities
- Continuously evaluate campaign performance and optimize based on performance
Search, Paid Media & Online Visibility
- Own SEO and SEM/SEA initiatives in collaboration with corporate teams and agency partners and in line with overarching Marketing strategy from the Director of Sales & Marketing & Director of Marketing, Communications & Partnerships
- Implement keyword strategies, metadata enhancements, and on-page optimization
- Oversee paid digital initiatives including display advertising, and paid social media strategy, ensuring efficient use of budget
- Manage listing site presence and inbound link strategies to strengthen visibility and search performance
- Support online reputation, editorial opportunities, and digital communications initiatives as needed
Website & Channel Management:
- Ensure Rimrock’s digital content reflects brand standards, storytelling principles, and luxury positioning across all partner channels
- Actively participate in content planning to support the Rimrock Banff digital and web experience with the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing, Communications & Partnerships
- Optimize web content aligned to SEO and SEM best practices.
- Support online reputation, editorial opportunities, and digital communications initiatives.
Analytics & Performance Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics including traffic, conversion, revenue contribution, and engagement.
- Partner with the team in support of monthly reporting insights, trends, and strategic recommendations.
- Seek to understand data performance to inform future recommendations.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Communications & Partnerships to ensure integrated execution
- Partner with the regional team representing multiple properties to align strategies and share best practices
- Engage with brand teams across multiple luxury segments to ensure compliance and innovation
- Act as a digital subject matter expert within the Sales & Marketing team
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree within marketing, digital marketing and/or e-commerce preferred
- Minimum of 3–5 experience in digital marketing or e-commerce within a luxury organization
- Experience within luxury hospitality or premium lifestyle brands strongly preferred
- Experience working with multiple on property and above property teams
- Experience opening a hotel or launching a new brand
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems including paid media, SEO/SEM, CRM, and web analytics
- Proven track record of driving measurable ROI through digital campaigns.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Rockies, Banff National Park, or premium leisure markets
