This role is responsible for the implementation of non-complex Group Benefits Clients by providing navigation for Plan Sponsors and Advisors. The role is the subject matter expert in all relevant areas, for ensuring effective implementation of newly sold group benefit policies.
Position Responsibilities:
Dedicated contact during the implementation, providing clear verbal and written communications that provides value to both the Regional Group Office (RGO) sales staff, Plan Sponsors and Market Sources
Ensure sold plan designs can be administered within the technology, processes, procedures, and product offerings utilized within all areas of Group business
Evaluate and determine appropriate non-standard risk assessments for non-complex new business
Provide analysis and technical support regarding product, pricing, and alternate funding arrangements
Engage Group Benefit business internal partners as needed to resolve client requests and issues, escalating to management as necessary
Support the RGO in maintaining Plan Sponsor and Market Source relationships by responding to risk, benefit, eligibility and administrative inquiries
Actively participating in Group Benefit and Underwriting process and product improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:
In-depth understanding of Group Life and Health concepts and terminology applicable to all markets
Excellent and extensive knowledge of Manulife Systems
Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel
Comfortable with math and applying actuarially approved pricing methodology
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of funding arrangements, risk analysis, and financial reporting
Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical thinking skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and develop practical, well‑reasoned solutions
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
Ability to effectively engage, influence, and communicate with internal partners and external market sources or sponsors
Comfortable working within tight turnaround times and evolving priorities
Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally while balancing business needs and client expectations
Creative problem‑solver who delivers thoughtful solutions that meet client needs while maintaining business credibility
