Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing supporting North American operations, is seeking a HSE Manager to join their team. As a HSE Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting manufacturing teams across North America. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety management, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: HSE Manager
Location: Remote (with up to 50% travel across North America)
Pay Range: $145,000/ year
What's the Job?
- Support manufacturing operations across North America by implementing, managing, and monitoring all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote a positive safety culture within the organization.
- Develop and deploy HSE policies, training programs, and initiatives to sustain safety performance.
- Lead incident investigations, analyze trends, and implement measures to minimize injuries and incidents.
- Collaborate with plant leaders and external stakeholders to resolve complex HSE issues and ensure continuous improvement.
What's Needed?
- 5–10 years of HSE experience in a continuous manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of measurable results in HSE performance and compliance.
- Knowledge of North American occupational health and safety legislation (Canada & U.S.), OSHA, workers compensation, Fire Code, CSA, and ANSI standards.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and change management skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, and email.
