Our client in the rail industry is hiring a Requirements Management Engineer in St-Bruno, QC.
As a Requirements Management Lead you will ensure that the entire project team is meeting company objectives on Cost, Quality, and Time through globally standardized Requirements Management practices. You will also conduct both internal and external audits to ensure that all Requirements Management Policies and Directives are adhered to globally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Ensure that the requirements management global process is upheld;Ensure that project requirements are defined and allocated appropriately to the various engineering and project management teams;Perform requirements reviews and communicate to each requirement owner, and ensure targets are fulfilled;Collaborate with the engineers to build the requirements specifications;Ensure the accuracy and quality of traceability throughout the lifecycle of all requirements (from the Customer Specification, to the detailed design and test specifications, including all levels in between);Ensure specifications and requirements are under change and configuration control;Ensure clarifications from the customer are tracked;Ensure that risks and opportunities related to requirements are being managed in DOORS;Develop the Requirements Management Plan for your project;Ensure that the project team is following the Requirements Management Plan;Gather key performance indicators (KPIs) from DOORS;Prepare and deliver periodic reports on requirements status to the project core team;Be able to answer questions that go deeper than the data (, not the what and where.);Ensure that internal derived requirements are written with high quality (Necessary, Unambiguous, Complete, Traceable, Verifiable, etc.);Review and give feedback on : supplier-written SRDs and interface requirements from internal and external ICDs and DCIMs;Collaborate with engineers and management on generating these requirements.
REQUIRED PROFILE : You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering;You have ideally a minimum of three (3) years of experience;You own experience in Rail industry or similar and O&M;You have working knowledge of : DOORS, Excel, and Office;You have the necessary skills to lead engineering activities;You are a quick learner and you like to learn new systems;You pay attention to the details and you like to take the initiative;Your have good French & English communication skills.
