Position Summary
BDO's National Office internal finance team is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator for a full-time position. Our office is located in the downtown core of Toronto, close to public transportation and Union Station. This is a replacement role.
In this role, you will be providing administrative duties for the processing of accounts payable function across the firm.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process invoices to ensure both accuracy and timely payment
- Audit expense reports for compliance with firm policies and procedures
- Assist with and process the Firm’s corporate credit card payments, transactions, and reconciliation
- EIB integration for large volume accounts payable transactions
- Verify supplier accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Professionally answer questions regarding payables while being a strong liaison with BDO offices
- Communicate with suppliers and collaborate with BDO offices on all accounts payable matters
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes
- Additional ad hoc tasks as required

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge
- College Diploma or University Degree in accounting
- 2 + years’ experience in an accounting role with a focus in accounts payable
- Excellent time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Well organized and able to handle large volumes
- Proficient in MS-Office applications and intermediate level Microsoft Excel required
- Experience with Workday software is considered an asset
- French bilingual is considered an asset
The expected range of compensation for this role is 43,000.00 - 65,000.00 CAD Annually.
