Today, Piedmont Plastics is currently hiring for a bilingual Outside Sales Representative (Montreal, QC Canada).

In this position, you will be required to:

  • Develop new accounts through prospecting, networking, cold calling and referrals.
  • Provide sales support to existing accounts, work and close daily opportunities, continuously expanding the customer base.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing accounts.
  • Communicate daily with sales team/management on the status of orders and customer concerns.
  • Maintain and enhance product and technical knowledge in the plastics industry.
  • Follow-up on leads and application opportunities.
  • Contribute to the team effort.
  • Work on site at Montreal Branch Mondays and Friday 8am to 5pm
  • Tuesday to Thursday 8am to 5pm work in your territory

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of outside sales experience in plastics, industrial distribution or sign and graphics-related sales experience with a track record of exceeding assigned sales goals
  • A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of two year's related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in plastics, industrial distribution or graphics-related sales
  • A personal vehicle in good condition, a clean drivers abstract
  • Basic computer skills
  • A willingness and desire to travel almost exclusively and the schedule to allow some overnight travel as well
  • A positive attitude and are a team player!

Aujourd'hui, Piedmont Plastics recrute actuellement un(e) représentant(e) commercial(e) externe bilingue (Montréal, QC Canada).

Dans ce poste, vous serez amené(e) à :

  • Développer de nouveaux comptes par la prospection, le réseautage, le démarchage téléphonique et les références.
  • Fournir un soutien commercial aux comptes existants, travailler et conclure des opportunités quotidiennes, en élargissant continuellement la base de clients.
  • Développer et renforcer les relations avec les comptes nouveaux et existants.
  • Communiquer quotidiennement avec l'équipe de vente et la direction sur l'état des commandes et les préoccupations des clients.
  • Maintenir et approfondir les connaissances techniques et produits dans l'industrie des plastiques.
  • Assurer le suivi des prospects et des opportunités d'application.
  • Contribuer à l'effort d'équipe.
  • Travailler sur site à la succursale de Montréal les lundis et vendredis de 8h à 17h.
  • Du mardi au jeudi, travailler de 8h à 17h dans votre territoire.

Pour réussir dans ce poste, le candidat idéal devra posséder :

  • Au moins 3 ans d'expérience en vente externe dans les plastiques, la distribution industrielle ou les ventes liées à l'enseigne et aux arts graphiques, avec un bilan démontrant le dépassement des objectifs de vente assignés.
  • Un baccalauréat d'un collège ou d'une université de quatre ans et un minimum de deux ans d'expérience professionnelle connexe ; ou une combinaison équivalente d'études et d'expérience dans les plastiques, la distribution industrielle ou les ventes liées aux arts graphiques.
  • Un véhicule personnel en bon état et un dossier de conduite irréprochable.
  • Des compétences informatiques de base.
  • Une volonté et un désir de voyager presque exclusivement, ainsi qu'un emploi du temps permettant des déplacements avec nuitées occasionnelles.
  • Une attitude positive et un esprit d'équipe !
