Job Title: General Production Worker – Heavy General Labor
Job Description
This role involves working at the start of a production line, handling pre-weighed materials and loading them into industrial mixers and hoppers. You will perform heavy, repetitive tasks while standing for the entire shift, including bending, lifting, and moving containers weighing between 50–70 pounds. The position requires flexibility to work in either of two adjacent buildings, which may involve going outside during the shift.
Responsibilities
- Load pre-weighed materials into industrial mixers at the beginnning of the production line.
- Lift, carry, and handle containers weighing between 50–70 pounds on a repetitive basis.
- Monitor mixing processes to ensure ingredients are properly blended according to production requirements.
- Transfer mixed ingredients into hoppers at the start of the production line in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform heavy, repetitive tasks while standing for the entire shift.
- Work in either of two side-by-side buildings and move between them as needed, including going outside mid-shift.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and facility procedures.
- Support packing, packaging, and general labor tasks as needed within the production area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet food safety and quality standards.
- Communicate in English through reading and writing to follow instructions, labels, and safety guidelines.
Essential Skills
- Ability to consistently lift and handle at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform heavy, repetitive tasks while standing for the entire shift.
- Experience working in a repetitive manufacturing or production environment.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for communication and following instructions.
- Comfort working in a food production environment that handles nuts and other ingredients.
- Willingness to move between two adjacent buildings and work in different areas of the production line as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Previous experience in food and beverage production environments.
- Mechanical aptitude or being mechanically inclined, such as comfort around production machinery and equipment.

Work Environment
The facility produces granola bars containing nuts and offers a clean, well-maintained production space that often smells of chocolate, caramel, and nuts. Due to the nature of the products, this environment is not suitable for individuals with peanut allergies. All work follows strict GMP standards to ensure food safety and product quality. The facility is generally temperature controlled, though it can become warm during the summer months. You will work on your feet for the entire shift and may need to move between two adjacent buildings, occasionally going outside during the shift. Shifts are structured with specific phases: First Shift includes Prep starting at 4:30, Mixing at 6:30, and Palletizing at 7:00, each lasting 8 hours; Second Shift includes Prep at 1:30 ., Mixing at 2:30 ., and Palletizing at 3:00 ., each lasting 8 hours. Appropriate attire for a food production environment and compliance with all GMP and safety requirements are expected.
