The Manager, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) is responsible for providing oversight to programs and services in support of safe work practices and regulatory compliance at UFV using a participatory and collaborative approach in identifying, reporting, and addressing health and safety issues.
The Manager, Environmental Health and Safety, monitors report findings and provides recommendations to the Director, to ensure compliance and studies the university’s environmental impacts to improve upon compliance and manage any liabilities. This includes the development of programs to work towards lowering safety risks and workplace incidents through safety observations and workplace discussions.
