Position Overview

The Senior Project/Program Manager leads the delivery of Autodesk’s most complex and high-impact People & Places (PPL) initiatives, operating at the intersection of strategy and execution. This role is responsible not only for driving end-to-end program delivery, but also for shaping how work is defined, aligned, and executed across the organization.

As a recognized expert in program management, this individual brings deep subject matter expertise and consultative leadership to senior PPL leaders, centers of excellence, and enterprise stakeholders. They anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions that drive measurable business and organizational impact.

This role requires a systems thinker who can navigate ambiguity, influence across boundaries, and integrate multiple workstreams into cohesive, outcome-driven programs. The Senior Project/Program Manager plays a critical role in enabling PPL to deliver on its strategic priorities with clarity, accountability, and sustained impact.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment to business priorities and measurable outcomes

  • Advisory & Influence: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing guidance on program strategy, trade-offs, risks, and execution approaches

  • Complex Problem Solving: Lead resolution of highly complex challenges, integrating cross-functional inputs and developing innovative, scalable solutions

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Drive alignment across PPL, COEs, and enterprise stakeholders, influencing priorities, decisions, and resource allocation

  • Program Design & Planning: Define program structures, roadmaps, and operating models that connect strategy to execution across multiple workstreams

  • Risk Anticipation & Mitigation: Proactively identify business risks and interdependencies, developing forward-looking strategies to mitigate impact

  • Governance & Decision Frameworks: Establish and lead governance processes, ensuring clear accountability, effective escalation, and timely decision-making

  • Performance & Impact: Define success metrics, track outcomes, and synthesize insights to inform leadership decisions and continuous improvement

  • Change Leadership: Embed change management strategies to enable adoption, readiness, and long-term sustainability of program outcomes

  • Continuous Improvement: Evolve program management practices, frameworks, and tools to improve delivery across the PPL portfolio

  • Human-Centered Delivery: Incorporate employee and stakeholder insights to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and impactful

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience leading complex, enterprise-level programs in dynamic, fast-paced environments

  • Demonstrated expertise in program management, including planning, governance, risk management, and performance tracking

  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders, shape priorities, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams

  • Experience solving complex, ambiguous problems and developing innovative, scalable solutions

  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to manage interdependencies across multiple programs and stakeholders

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience leading change and driving adoption across organizations

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, management, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering programs within HR / People & Places functions

  • Experience advising leadership on program strategy and execution in a global organization

  • Familiarity with human-centered design and customer-centric approaches

  • Experience with program analytics, metrics, and reporting frameworks

  • Experience working in a complex, global, matrixed environment

En tant qu’expert reconnu en gestion de programmes, cette personne apporte une expertise approfondie du sujet et un leadership consultatif aux dirigeants PPL, aux centres d’excellence et aux parties prenantes de l’entreprise. Elle anticipe les défis, identifie les opportunités et développe des solutions innovantes qui génèrent un impact mesurable sur l’activité et l’organisation.

Ce poste requiert une personne dotée d’un esprit systémique, capable de gérer l’ambiguïté, d’exercer une influence au-delà des frontières et d’intégrer de multiples axes de travail dans des programmes cohérents et axés sur les résultats. Le responsable de projet/programme senior joue un rôle essentiel pour permettre à PPL de réaliser ses priorités stratégiques avec clarté, responsabilité et un impact durable.

Responsabilités

  • Direction stratégique des programmes : Diriger la mise en œuvre de bout en bout d'initiatives interfonctionnelles à grande échelle, en garantissant l'alignement sur les priorités commerciales et des résultats mesurables

  • Conseil et influence : Agir en tant que conseiller de confiance auprès des hauts dirigeants, en fournissant des orientations sur la stratégie des programmes, les compromis, les risques et les approches d'exécution

  • Résolution de problèmes complexes : Diriger la résolution de défis hautement complexes, en intégrant les contributions interfonctionnelles et en développant des solutions innovantes et évolutives

  • Alignement interfonctionnel : Favoriser l'alignement entre PPL, les centres d'excellence (COE) et les parties prenantes de l'entreprise, en influençant les priorités, les décisions et l'allocation des ressources

  • Conception et planification des programmes : Définir les structures, les feuilles de route et les modèles opérationnels des programmes qui relient la stratégie à l'exécution à travers de multiples axes de travail

  • Anticipation et atténuation des risques : Identifier de manière proactive les risques opérationnels et les interdépendances, en développant des stratégies prospectives pour atténuer leur impact

  • Gouvernance et cadres décisionnels : Mettre en place et diriger les processus de gouvernance, en garantissant une responsabilité claire, une escalade efficace et une prise de décision en temps opportun

  • Performance et impact : Définir des indicateurs de réussite, suivre les résultats et synthétiser les enseignements pour éclairer les décisions de la direction et l'amélioration continue

  • Leadership du changement : Intégrer des stratégies de gestion du changement pour favoriser l'adoption, la préparation et la pérennité à long terme des résultats du programme

  • Amélioration continue : Faire évoluer les pratiques, les cadres et les outils de gestion de programme afin d'améliorer la mise en œuvre à travers l'ensemble du portefeuille de PPL

  • Mise en œuvre centrée sur l'humain : Intégrer les points de vue des employés et des parties prenantes pour garantir que les solutions soient pratiques, évolutives et efficaces

Qualifications minimales

  • 8 à 12 ans d'expérience dans la direction de programmes complexes à l'échelle de l'entreprise, dans des environnements dynamiques et en constante évolution

  • Expertise avérée en gestion de programmes, notamment en matière de planification, de gouvernance, de gestion des risques et de suivi des performances

  • Capacité avérée à influencer les hauts dirigeants, à définir les priorités et à favoriser l’alignement entre les équipes interfonctionnelles

  • Expérience dans la résolution de problèmes complexes et ambigus et dans le développement de solutions innovantes et évolutives

  • Esprit systémique développé et capacité à gérer les interdépendances entre plusieurs programmes et parties prenantes

  • Compétences exceptionnelles en communication, en animation et en gestion des parties prenantes

  • Expérience dans la conduite du changement et la promotion de l’adoption au sein des organisations

  • Licence en commerce, ressources humaines, gestion ou dans un domaine connexe

Qualifications souhaitées

  • Expérience dans la mise en œuvre de programmes au sein des fonctions RH / People & Places

  • Expérience dans le conseil aux dirigeants sur la stratégie et l'exécution de programmes au sein d'une organisation mondiale

  • Connaissance de la conception centrée sur l'humain et des approches centrées sur le client

  • Expérience en analyse de programmes, en indicateurs de performance et en cadres de reporting

  • Expérience de travail dans un environnement complexe, mondial et matriciel
