Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design and architect scalable, highly available solutions using multi-tier and multi-platform approaches, incorporating event-driven patterns and message queues to support real-time data flows.
• Apply SOLID principles and cloud-native design patterns to deliver modular, maintainable, and extensible architectures that stand up to enterprise demands.
• Serve as a technical leader and architectural authority across the full solution lifecycle — translating business requirements into sound technical direction and guiding engineering teams through delivery.
• Engage with a broad set of stakeholders — including security, risk, cloud engineering, and compliance teams — to ensure solutions align with governance controls, encryption standards, operational resilience requirements, and audit readiness.
• Produce high-quality architecture artifacts including Use Case, Sequence, and Solution Architecture diagrams, leveraging the Well-Architected Framework and internal governance templates covering security controls, threat models, and data flows.
• Partner with enterprise architects and security teams to validate that designs meet organizational standards end to end.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Proven experience architecting enterprise solutions across complex, distributed environments.
• Strong command of event-driven architecture, cloud-native design patterns, and SOLID engineering principles.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear, governance-aligned architecture documentation and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate across technical and non-technical audiences.
Optional/Nice to have skills:
• Hands-on experience with ArchiMate Modelling Language for Enterprise Architecture.
• Knowledge of AI and cloud technologies and how they can be applied in enterprise contexts.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,–$,. This role is a future vacancy.
