Job Description – Clerk 3
Position Title: Clerk 3 (ADM04)
Engagement Type: Competitive-Sourced
Work Schedule: 5 Days/Week | 7 Hours/Day
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Truro,Nova Scotia, Canada
Supplier: Upstaff Employment Services Inc
Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounting transactions and maintain financial records accurately
  • Perform SAP data entry, transaction processing, and system updates
  • Coordinate and manage access permits and related documentation
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain reports, records, and correspondence
  • Support preparation of financial statements and administrative documentation
  • Maintain office inventory and records management systems
  • Distribute and coordinate inter-office mail and communications
  • Assist with daily office operations and provide administrative support
  • Provide guidance and direction to support staff when required
  • Ensure compliance with departmental procedures and government policies
Required Qualifications
  • Grade XI education plus four (4) years of related administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with SAP transaction processing and accounting support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to exercise judgment and decision-making within established guidelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience working within a government or public sector environment
  • Knowledge of administrative and financial procedures
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and record management skills
