Overview:
Account Support Representative
The Account Support Representative, dedicated to the TELUS Exclusive Partner Program is responsible for growth by establishing relationships with new and existing accounts with the goal of, presenting the value of our programs, and building ongoing engagement. You will introduce new and exciting solutions to prospective and existing businesses nationally with the desired outcome of growing distribution and deepening partnerships. Driving growth in this channel comes by developing and executing a comprehensive account strategy while cultivating strong customer relationships and providing exceptional service and product knowledge.

Responsibilities:
- Establish and reestablish relationships with new and existing accounts to grow TELUS distribution through prospecting, referrals, and strategic outreach.
- Present the value of TELUS programs and solutions to prospective and existing businesses with the goal of growing distribution and deepening partnerships.
- Provide exceptional service and support to all accounts through responsive communication, leveraging strong relationships as a competitive advantage.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy to service assigned accounts in an efficient and effective manner to maximize engagement, growth, and achieve revenue targets.
- Build ongoing customer engagement through regular touchpoints, account check-ins, and proactive relationship management.
- Educate customers on TELUS' value proposition, product offerings, and best practices to ensure top of mind awareness and successful implementation.
- Gather and report on competitive information and market insights to inform strategy and identify opportunities.
- Monitor account health and identify upsell, cross-sell, and reactivation opportunities to drive growth within existing accounts.
- Recommend, develop, implement, and influence improved sales, engagement, and efficiency results through customized account strategies and sharing best business practices.
- Ensure the TELUS brand is represented well and that all customer interactions reflect our commitment to excellence and service quality.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong prospecting and closing skills in a sales environment
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven self-starter with the ability to find, develop and close leads
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and objectives
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive customer relationships as well as work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to influence and affect behavior change with individuals through effective coaching and training facilitation
- Ability to do presentations and trainings to small and large groups
- Work with minimal supervision through a flexible and mobile work style:
- Working from a home based office
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required
- Knowledgeable about the Canadian wireless and home solutions market is an asset
- Advanced working knowledge of Google suite
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
- Completed university degree or college diploma
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of customer support/account management experience, preferably in wireless and/or 2 years’ sales support management experience in wireless (retail or dealer channel)
- Possess a valid driver’s license together with a reliable vehicle
