Support 3–4 litigation lawyers across commercial, construction, maritime, dispute resolution, and administrative law practices
Draft, edit and format pleadings, agreements, memos, court documents and correspondence
Manage high-volume billing — liaising with the Client Billing Team for monthly account production
File at BC Supreme Court registries and manage all court-related documentation
Maintain document management via cloud share platforms and virtual deal rooms (iManage)
Manage bring-forward systems, file lists, and matter opening/closing
Provide coverage support for legal assistant team as needed — this is a collaborative group
What you must have:
7+ years legal assistant experience, litigation preferred
BC Supreme Court rules, procedures & e-filing
Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Billing & accounts — high-volume, time-critical
Court registry filings & document management
Ability to juggle multiple lawyers & shifting priorities
LAA diploma or equivalent experience
Salary/Rate Range: $60,200.00 - $74,400.00
