Job description
Hello! We are a family of 4 with two boys ages 11 and 5. My husband and I are both professionals and we are looking for a full time nanny starting end of August/September 2026. We would prefer live-out, but do have the ability to do live-in (one bedroom suite). Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is interested in a long term position and becoming a part of our family. Our previous nanny was with us for 9.5 years, and our current nanny will soon be unable to work with us due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note : - our position requires a Valid Driver's License - which is a must, as we live in an area of the city where you will need a car to get the kids to school as well as to their extracurricular activities. Main duties would involve helping to get the boys ready in the morning, making food for them and then taking them to school and picking up from school, helping with home work and taking them to their extracurriculars. While they are in school, duties would include cleaning/laundry/grocery shopping/tasks around the house and meal prep. We do have two very friendly cats in the house and duties would involve some pet care. We do require someone who is flexible with their schedule from month to month, as both my husband and I work shift work; however, we will guarantee full time hours per month (152 hrs/month. May not be scheduled for full hours each month). Majority of hours would be during the week with occasional nights and weekends (Typically 1-2 nights per month and occasional weekends). Rates to be negotiated depending on if live-in/live-out and experience ($20 - $25/hr). We do have a car if you don't have one yourself, but must have a valid, clean driver's license. Valid First Aid course and Criminal Record check is also requested.
