Senior Data Modeler (Hybrid Work Schedule)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced domain data modeler to design, implement, and optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support complex solutions across our Upstream Planning portfolio.The overall objective is to collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, governed, and high-performance data structures that enhance deliverable quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of complex conceptual, logical, and physical models
• Establish and support data standards, naming conventions, and best practices for data governance and documentation
• Drive the adoption of modern technologies and frameworks
• Lead and support technical decisions, enforce standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, identify risks, and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with guidelines.
• And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing domain driven data models
• Expertise in Domain-Driven Design, deep understanding of tactical patterns (Entities, Value Objects, Aggregates, Domain Services, Repositories) and strategic patterns (Bounded Contexts, Context Mapping)
• Strong proficiency in SQL, relational, and dimensional modeling methodologies
• Strond understanding of object-oriented design and Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in designing solutions for scalability, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency using cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake…)
• Proficiency using cloud providers (Azure, AWS…)
• Strong knowledge of CQRS and Event-Driven architecture
• Strong knowledge of APIs and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in Ontology and graph data modelling
• Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI coding tools
• Familiarity with AI driven SDLC
• Proven ability to align emerging technologies with organizational goals
• Proven record of building domain models from complex business requirements in an enterprise environment
• Knowledge of the upstream oil and gas domain

Additional Details

• Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and passport/ID validation.
