Job description
IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Production Associate to join a growing manufacturing facility in Orillia. This is a full-time position offering steady work in a fast paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay rate: $19.00 per hour.
Your day to day:
  • Produce, assemble, finish, and package products according to established production standards.
  • Operate a variety of production machinery, equipment, and hand tools.
  • Work in a clean, safe, and organized manner while following all Health and Safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment and verify that machine guards and safety controls are in place.
  • Read and interpret work instructions and measurements to ensure product accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free workstation throughout the shift.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
  • Meet assigned goals and timelines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and remain reliable throughout the workweek.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What we need from you:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to understand and communicate job-related information, including safety instructions, work orders, and production requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret imperial measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good decision-making and multitasking skills.
  • Experience using metal or wood fabrication equipment and hand tools is an asset.
  • Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
