Position Description:
Network Engineer
Work Mode: Onsite
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Provide network support, including troubleshooting network issues, resolving outages/incidents, and handling advanced service requests.
Participate in recovery calls with various teams to resolve high-priority incidents according to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Monitor the network, perform remote administration, configuration, troubleshooting, installation, and deployment of network devices.
Manage IP schemas and protocols, implement and support IP addresses, routing table entries, network filters, and other operational configuration parameters for all managed network devices.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Provide solutions for design flaws and suggest service improvement ideas.
Maintain excellent knowledge of the enterprise network architecture.
Coordinate with other support teams to resolve complex issues when necessary.
Ensure successful implementation of changes required for network performance optimization, new requirements, etc.
Communicate and coordinate effectively during major network incidents.
Document network services, including design standards and topology.
Properly document incidents, service requests, and change requests in accordance with standard processes.
Handle incidents escalated by Level 2 NOC engineers and other teams.
Interact with vendor TAC centers and WAN service providers.
Provide 24x7 network support.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
CCNA certification mandatory.
Experience with Cisco routers and switches.
Strong network engineering skills.
Bilingual (French/English).
