The Opportunity

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of material movements, proper storage, in/outbound shipments and deliveries, inventory management and ensuring safe operations of Material Handlers and pedestrian traffic. This position will focus on the implementation and adherence of standard procedures developed for warehouse processes, and daily assignment of team member activities.

This posting is for a newly created position to support our continued growth.

What You Will Do

Daily Operations

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing and shipping products.
  • Act as a liaison between warehouse staff and management, facilitating effective communication and information flow.

Staff Management

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.
  • Train new employees and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and support for professional growth.

Inventory Control

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular audits and cycle counts and ensure proper documentation of all inventory transactions.

Safety Compliance

  • Implement and enforce safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Process Optimization

  • Identify areas for improvement in the warehouse processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Project Support

  • Assist with the transitional period from project phase into operational phase, completing relevant tasks as required and supporting the team as requested
  • Oversee the delivery and receipt of materials, equipment and supplies leading up to project completion.
  • Create, maintain and audit inventory reports and process material requisition forms

May include other related duties as required, provided such duties are reasonable and consistent with the employee’s qualifications and role responsibilities.

What You Bring

Required

  • 10+ years experience in a warehouse environment with at least 3 years experience in a leadership capacity
  • Experience leading or assisting with the implementation of new WMS or warehouse facility addition
  • Valid forklift certification
  • Extremely familiar with safe operations relating to dock and warehouse traffic
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear recommendations
  • Working knowledge of S&OP processes and forecasting tools (ERP, PBI, etc.)
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution
  • Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, and “get things done” attitude

Assets

  • Experience in the medical device or retail manufacturing sector
  • Experience in entrepreneurial or fast-growing business environments.
  • Understanding of medical device supply chain and commercial processes
  • Exposure to Lean or Agile methodologies.

What We Offer

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000 per year.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Depending on the role, the position may be eligible to participate in a bonus or incentive program.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a combination of office and manufacturing environments
  • The role requires regular on-site presence in production areas and extended periods of computer and screen use
  • Standard work schedule is daytime hours; however, occasional attendance outside regular hours (including early, late, or shift-based hours) may be required to support commissioning, operational needs, or improvement activities
