Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

Come share your passion with us! We are looking for a Specialist for our Financial Reporting and Consolidation department, who will play a key role in analyzing and disclosing financial information.
What you will do:
Participate in the preparation of Intact Financial Corporation’s quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements;
Actively contribute to improving 52-109 controls to maintain a robust internal control environment;
Support and take part in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects;
Participate in the accounting for unusual transactions, such as business acquisitions, tax reorganizations, and any other complex accounting operations;
Participate in the monthly consolidation of Intact Financial Corporation’s various subsidiaries, including multiple foreign-currency entities;
Participate in the preparation of detailed monthly and quarterly analyses;
Prepare financial analyses at management’s request;
Support external auditors by providing the required explanations and analyses.
What you need:
CPA designation– required;
Proven experience in accounting, IFRS accounting standards, or complex accounting operations (e.g., acquisitions, disposals, foreign exchange transactions);
Hands-on experience in implementing and operationalizing 52-109 controls;
Strong interest in using technologies, including artificial intelligence tools;
Experience with consolidation/financial reporting tools – an asset;
Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance sector – an asset;
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change;
Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with rigor;
Demonstrated leadership, team spirit, autonomy, and efficiency;
Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively;
Fully bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken;
Knowledge of Oracle, Hyperion, or implementation of these tools – an asset.
