Job Title: Construction Labourer

Job Description

As a construction labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks on the site as needed. This role involves concrete work, chipping, hammering, forming, stripping, and other general labour duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete work including chipping, forming, and stripping.
• Operate hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Assist in carpentry, concrete finishing, and rebar work.
• Support in pipe and valve work.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while working at heights and in form work concrete areas.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of construction labour experience.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Concrete experience including chipping, forming, and stripping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with concrete forming and pipe and valve work.
• Any experience in a water treatment facility is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work between Durham and Chatsworth on Hwy 6, approximately 25 minutes apart. The role operates on a day shift from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Be part of a team ranging from 10-20 members in a suburban community located in a country area. Enjoy a health and safety-focused culture.

Start Date

Expected start date for these role are May/June, we are building a pipeline of candidates and are able to get the roles secured a few weeks prior.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.15/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hanover,ON.
