Senior Mechatronics Engineer

Our client, a biometric-based automated processing solution, is looking to ad a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to their team.
You will design, prototype, and integrate electro‑mechanical systems for new product platforms.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience working with electrical and mechanical design.
Must have experience designing, developing, and maintaining intelligent, automated systems by integrating mechanical, and electrical engineering.
Must have experience developing sensors.
Proficiency in selecting electrical and mechanical components with a focus on performance and reliability.
Ability to interpret mechanical / electrical schematics and diagrams.
Experience in power architecture (e.g., DC-DC and battery systems), peripherals, and I / O.
Experience with creating and maintaining product Bills of Materials (BoMs).
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
Basic programming skills for testing (Python, C / C++, MicroPython).
Responsibilities
Participate in design reviews and recommend design improvements.
Plan and manage regulatory testing and certification processes (e.g., safety, emissions compliance).
Support product installation, deployment, and production handover activities.
Develop technical specifications, user manuals, production checklists, and training materials.
Level 3 HW Support - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Coordinate with suppliers for procurement, vendor selection, and component alternatives.
Provide knowledge transfer and frontline support to the Production team to ensure smooth handoff and pre-production readiness.
Write scripts and implement basic automation for system-level validation.
