What is the opportunity?The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Langley is seeking a Client Experience Associate to join a successful Investment team. You will assist in enhancing the client experience by providing personalized, tailored, and relationship focus support. Additionally you will assist with team marketing.
What will you do?
Client Service & Support- Execute activities and continuous client contact as per Advisor’s business plan, client service plan, review schedule.
- Update client info in the team’s contact management system. Maintain a record of client details, interactions, meeting notes, and identified opportunities for follow-up.
- Coordinate meetings for advisors with their clients / prospects – handle logistics, prepare meeting room, welcome clients, execute post-meeting tasks.
- Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary. • Assist the Advisor/team with client onboarding.
- Help manage incoming communications; e.g., answer phone, triage Advisor’s e-mails.
- Oversight, thought leadership, and execution on activities that influence the client experience.
Account Administration/Documentation- Respond to general client inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax receipts, account reporting, etc.)
- Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients: manage timelines and key dates for accounts.
- Manage special projects for the team, including regulatory projects requiring account documentation updates or client communications and firm-led initiatives.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems
General Business Administration- Process expense reports and invoices, order office supplies.
- Coordinate with advisor any client events, manage invitations and logistics, RSVPs and event execution and follow up.
- Assist Advisor with managing an RBC partner and COI service plan and execution of the plan. • Assist with preparing mail outs of client info packages, prospectuses, newsletters, invitations to seminars, etc.
- Assist with day-to-day marketing tasks and social media maintenance.
- Ensure team processes are current and strive for efficiencies
What do you need to succeed?Must-have- Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or willingness to complete
- Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
- High quality time management and organization skills
- Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
Nice-to-have- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
- Experience in the securities industry is an asset

The expected
