310T Mechanic / Fleet MechanicLocation: Stouffville, Ontario
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Schedule: Day Shift: Monday to Thursday from 7am-4:30pm, Friday 7am- 3:15pm.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ($48 – $52) + overtime potential About the Opportunity: 310T Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic A well-established employer in the infrastructure / utility services sector is looking for a 310T Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic to join their maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys working on heavy-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, and equipment in a hands-on shop environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong diagnostic ability, a safety-first mindset, and experience maintaining commercial vehicles and related systems. What You’ll Be Doing: 310T Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, fleet vehicles, and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Review repair priorities and complete assigned work orders
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Assist with identifying and resolving equipment issues efficiently
  • Perform road tests or vehicle movement as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and shop procedures
What We’re Looking For: 310T Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licensed preferred OR registered apprentice with relevant hands-on experience & minimum 3 years of experience working on:
  • Heavy-duty trucks –
  • Commercial fleet vehicles
  • Heavy equipment
  • Related diesel-powered equipment
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Experience with hydraulic and/or electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Ontario driver’s licence
  • Must be able to provide a driver abstract
  • Must have own tools
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience with diesel engines
  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • Experience servicing trailers or specialized equipment
  • Exposure to utility, construction, or contractor fleet environments
