Job Description

Join a dynamic team involved in managing shipping and receiving operations in a large warehouse. The role focuses on ensuring efficient and accurate handling of shipments, contributing to energy-efficient power distribution solutions.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips, purchase orders, or invoices.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, accuracy, and quality.
• Record receipts and shipments in inventory or ERP systems.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and documentation.
• Organize, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, walkies, or reach trucks (where certified).
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs and reports.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments regarding shipments and discrepancies.
• Process returns, damaged goods, and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, safe, and organized.

Essential Skills

• Experience in shipping and/or receiving in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems or shipping software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs safely and consistently.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using ERP systems.
• Data entry skills.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a large warehouse space, with shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for extended hours based on shipment needs. The environment is well-lit, though a bit dusty, and all materials are organized for efficiency. Employees collaborate closely with the shipping and receiving lead to ensure accuracy and efficiency in operations.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
