Job description
Resolute Workforce Solutions (Staff augmentation subsidiary of Brevitas Consulting Inc.) is dedicated to helping organizations achieve tangible results and lasting improvements via successful project delivery, continuous process improvement, and effective management of change. Our expertise is in Commissioning & Qualification, Validation, Quality Systems, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, and Project Management.
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Lab Operations Coordinator​ in Whitby, ON(On-site).
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate qualification and requalification of Reference Standards and Materials.
  • Manage storage, inventory, and secure handling of Reference Standards.
  • Maintain records in SampleManager LIMS and Certificates of Analysis.
  • Procure, handle, and distribute Reference Standards under Lab Operations guidance.
  • Request updates from clients and monitor inventory levels, notifying Project Leaders as needed.
  • Safely dispose of unused materials when requalification is discontinued.
  • Attend project kick-off meetings and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Perform alternating or rotating shifts as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry with experience in stability studies, sample tracking, reference standards, controlled substances, training records, purchasing, specifications, or lab support.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with GMP and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective time management and strong English communication skills.
  • Salary: CAD $–$ per hour (depending on experience).
