Lead Project Engineer
NSB Omega is searching for a Lead Project Engineer for our Oil & Gas Client in St. John's, NL.
Qualifications Required
15+ years of related project management experience, with a focus on the delivery of technical aspects, particularly in a marine environment.
Understanding of Project Management principles, including resource planning, cashflow analysis, earned value progress reporting, and technical support of contract dispute resolution.
Experience in supervising technical teams in the delivery of major projects.
Experience in effective interface management with service and supply companies in the delivery of large, complex work packages.
Ability to create effective technical documents, particularly scopes of work, in support of procurement efforts.
Experience in creation and maintenance of Master Document Registers, Master Drawing Registers, Master Equipment Lists, etc.
Extensive site experience related to the construction of major infrastructure projects; marine experience is an asset.
Proficiency in Risk Management at a work-package level.
Effective support of Project Planners in determining package sequencing, duration, and interdependencies.
Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with PEGNL is essential.
