We are a family located in beautiful Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, looking to hire a part-time nanny to care for our toddler (1 year old). If you are passionate about working with young children and have the skills we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will be a live-out nanny who is flexible and reliable. You should have experience caring for toddlers and be comfortable engaging them in age-appropriate activities that promote development and well-being. Psychology background is a plus, but not required. Mom and dad both work from home and as we live on a multi-generational property, grandpa & grandma, and uncle and aunt are around as well. We're truly looking for someone who's family-oriented and who wants to form a bond with our son - we will need this position filled for at least a year so we'd really like a long-term applicant who can commit to 3 days a week. The ideal applicant is someone who loves being outside, is patient, and has energy to keep up with our son!
Safety is our top priority, so we require that all applicants are certified in CPR and have a strong understanding of child safety practices. Especially since we have a large pond and creeks running on the property. You must have a car to get to us.
