Their integrated team of architects, planners, and interior designers collaborate across a diverse portfolio including healthcare, post secondary, K to 12, and community focused projects. The firm is values driven, grounded in collaboration, accountability, and a genuine commitment to quality design and long term partnerships.

Why Join This Team?

This is an opportunity to join a growing healthcare studio that is actively shaping the future of care environments across the region. You will be part of a collaborative, well supported team working on meaningful projects that directly impact communities. The firm offers strong mentorship, clear pathways for growth, and a leadership team that is approachable and invested in your development. With a steady pipeline of work and long term client relationships, this role offers both stability and the chance to take on increasing responsibility over time.

Our client is seeking a Healthcare Architect to join their team and contribute to a growing and evolving sector within the practice. This role is suited to someone with experience in healthcare or complex institutional work who understands the technical, operational, and regulatory requirements of these environments. You will be involved across all phases of projects, from early planning through to construction, while also supporting client relationships and contributing to the long term growth of the healthcare portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to healthcare projects through all phases, from concept design to construction completion
  • Apply knowledge of healthcare planning, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements to project delivery
  • Work on a range of project types including hospitals, ambulatory care, and specialized treatment facilities
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and user groups to ensure project success and strong relationships
  • Support renovations and new build projects within active healthcare environments
  • Contribute to proposals, presentations, and business development efforts within the healthcare sector
  • Mentor junior team members and support a collaborative studio culture
  • Participate in the ongoing growth and evolution of the healthcare practice

Qualifications

  • Registered Architect or eligible for registration in Canada
  • Minimum 5 years of post registration experience, ideally with healthcare or complex institutional projects
  • Strong understanding of healthcare planning principles and project delivery requirements
  • Experience working across multiple project phases, including construction documentation and contract administration
  • Proficiency in Revit and standard architectural software
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Detail oriented with strong technical and design capabilities

What’s On Offer

  • Competitive salary aligned with experience
  • Hybrid work model with flexibility to support work life balance
  • Strong pipeline of healthcare and institutional work
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment with approachable leadership
  • Clear path for career growth and increased responsibility
  • Professional development support and continuing education opportunities
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and wellness spending accounts
  • Engaging team culture with regular events and initiatives

If this sounds like something you would be open to discussing further, I would love to connect. Feel free to reach out to Dara at dchita@talentsphere.ca or apply directly!
