Position Overview: The Communications & Marketing Administrator plays a central role in shaping how our organization is perceived — both internally and externally. This position bridges employee experience and external brand growth by ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all platforms and audiences. From crafting internal newsletters to managing social media channels and supporting paid campaigns, this role requires a creative, organized, and people-focused communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm

What You’ll DoTell the Story of Every Mile
- Create and schedule compelling content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and more)
- Ensure consistent tone, style, and messaging across every channel — from the website to internal newsletters
- Design graphics, short videos, and visual assets using Canva to bring our brand to life
- Keep our website content fresh and up to date (no coding required)
Connect and Engage
- Build genuine relationships with our online community by responding to messages, comments, and reviews
- Support paid ad campaigns — from creative concept through to performance reporting
- Monitor our digital reputation and help us put our best foot forward on Google and beyond
Strengthen our Internal Culture
- Partner with teams across the organization to surface stories worth telling
- Develop internal communications that keep employees informed, engaged, and celebrated
- Support employee recognition programs, company events, and job fairs
RequirementsExperience & Education
- A diploma or degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a similar role
- Demonstrated experience managing social media in a professional context
Skills that Set you Apart
- A strong, clear writing voice with a natural ability to adapt tone for different audiences
- Comfort with Canva or similar design tools; photography or video editing skills are a bonus
- Experience with content scheduling tools, email marketing platforms, or CMS systems
- An organized, detail-oriented approach — you manage multiple deadlines without missing a beat
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to build relationships across teams
