Job Description
• Safely operating the shuttle according to all relevant provincial legislation
• Performing safety and maintenance checks on the vehicle
• Driving residents to and from appointments, community outing and events
• Following van guidelines outlined in out Policy &Procedures
• Ensuring the van is safely and securely stored after use
• Adverting the Manager of Life Enrichment of and requirements for maintenance or repair Any other related duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
• Mature, professional individual who posses a pleasant mannerism
• Ability to operate Shuttle in a safe and responsible manner
• Minimum Class “F” driver’s License
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Experience working with seniors and asset
• Proof of insurability required
• 3-5 years of experience necessary
• Knowledge of van operation regulations, as well as highway and city driving regulations.
• Knowledge of local area and surrounding community an asset
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
