Job Title: Senior IT Manager

Job Description:

As the IT Manager at Amphenol HSIO, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all aspects of our IT systems and infrastructure & ERP systems. You will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate closely with department heads to ensure the effective delivery of IT solutions that support our business objectives. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to align technology initiatives with the company's strategic goals.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

ACTIVITY

DESCRIPTION

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies and initiatives in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Identify and analyze technology trends, assessing their potential impact on organizational efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Explore innovative ways to incorporate new technologies into the enterprise, driving enhanced value for existing business practices.

Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee the maintenance, enhancement, and security of the organization's hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Ensure the reliability and integrity of IT systems and data through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

Vendor Management

  • Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party technology vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure optimal terms and conditions for the organization.

Project Management

  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project planning and execution, fostering effective communication and coordination.
  • Lead the enhancement and optimization of the ERP system, collaborating with project teams, vendors and stakeholders.

Compliance and Security

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and data security requirements.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity and confidentiality
  • Promote a cybersecurity-focused culture within the organization, raising awareness and implementing best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and industry cybersecurity requirements, such as NIST and CMMC.

Enterprise Network Management

  • Develop a five-year roadmap for the enterprise network, outlining strategic objectives and milestones.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of network solutions, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, and firewalls.
  • Evaluate emerging network technologies and recommend solutions to enhance performance and security.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and control IT-related expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a proficient IT team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Set individual and team development goals for direct reports. Monitor staff progress against goals, establish priorities and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure alignment of individual objectives with broader corporate objectives. Monitor and evaluate results.
  • Promote and champion team alignment across geographies leveraging a variety of communication media and strategies
  • Manage, mentor and develop leaders using a supportive and collaborative approach.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Familiarity with configuring and managing SEM/SIEMs, IPDS, Firewalls, TLS/SSL Encryption applications/devices.
  • Experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, and security protocols.
  • Strong planning, organizational and presentation/communications skills with very good command of English, both spoken & written.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is beneficial.
  • Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions and SaaS applications is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and customizing ERP modules to meet business requirements.
  • Familiarity with ERP best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute complex IT projects within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization and build productive working relationships.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose problems, and develop effective solutions.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills to evaluate options and make informed recommendations.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 annually. In determining the rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and membership in our Defined Contribution Pension Plan.
