We are looking for a high-performing Website Designer & Developer to join a rapidly scaling AI SaaS organization building a property management assistant solution. You will own the design, development, and continuous optimization of our web presence, ensuring our website is not just visually compelling, but engineered to convert, rank, and perform.

This role is ideal for someone who lives at the intersection of UI / UX design, front-end development, and SEO / CRO strategy, and thrives in a high-growth startup environment. Strong ownership, creativity, and a data-driven mindset are essential. This is a full-time permanent position requiring 5 days onsite, with the office located in North York.

What are the primary responsibilities of this role?

• Own the full design-to-launch lifecycle of high-fidelity, responsive, and interactive web pages.
• Continuously optimize landing pages, CTAs, and user journeys through A / B testing and CRO best practices.
• Implement advanced SEO and AI / LLM optimization strategies, including structured data, semantic HTML, and knowledge graphs.
• Proactively update website content to reflect product launches, industry trends, and seasonal campaigns.
• Maintain elite performance standards, including Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile responsiveness.
• Build custom animations and interactive elements that enhance engagement without compromising performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and leadership teams to support growth initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Website Designer, Web Developer, or similar role in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Proven ability to design and build production-ready websites using Webflow, Framer, or a custom / headless CMS.
• Strong front-end development skills with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including animation libraries such as GSAP).
• Deep understanding of technical SEO, keyword strategy, and search performance optimization.
• Experience using analytics and behavior tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Hotjar, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to turn data insights into design and performance improvements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience optimizing websites for AI search engines and LLM-based discovery.
• Familiarity with schema markup, structured data, and modern SEO frameworks.
• Ability to move quickly from concept or sketch to live, high-converting pages.
• Comfort leveraging AI tools to accelerate design, development, and content workflows.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, fully in-office startup environment.

Educational Requirements

• University degree in Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating both UI / UX excellence and technical execution.
