Role Description
· Responsible for defining and executing the overall test strategy for banking and financial applications, ensuring quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
· Actively involved in automation testing, API testing, and functional testing across the application landscape.
· Lead and mentor the Quality Engineering (QE) team, providing direction on testing best practices and delivery standards.
· Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to manage defects, assess risks, and ensure release readiness.
· Drive best practices in Agile delivery, establish and enhance test automation frameworks, and promote continuous quality improvement across the POD.
Essential Skills
· Strong expertise in defining and executing comprehensive test strategies for banking and financial applications.
· Hands‑on experience with automation, API, and functional testing.
· Proven ability to lead and mentor QE teams.
· Experience managing defects, risks, and release quality in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
· Background in Agile delivery with strong understanding of test automation frameworks.
· Ability to drive continuous quality improvements across teams and processes.
