Job description
Hi there, I’m looking for someone to provide childcare in my home on a temporary basis until my daughter starts daycare in the fall. The ideal schedule would be Monday to Friday, approximately 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (about 5 hours per day). I work from home much of the time and also attend meetings and appointments, so I’m looking for someone who is comfortable caring for my daughter in our home while I am in and out throughout the day. We recently moved into our new home in Brooklin, and I’m currently unpacking and getting settled, so having someone here to focus on my daughter’s care and activities would be a tremendous help. I’m looking for someone who: * Is 25 years of age or older * Is a parent themselves * Has current CPR and First Aid certification * Has experience caring for toddlers * Is reliable, patient, and nurturing * Is good with routines and schedules * Enjoys engaging children through play, learning activities, and outdoor time * Is comfortable working in a home where a parent may be present at times My daughter is a happy, active little girl, and I’m hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and helping them learn and grow. This position is temporary until daycare begins in the fall, though there may be potential for additional hours for the right person. If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
