Stafingo is seeking an experienced
Corporate & Administrative Services Officer
for a public sector client for an initial contract term from
May 2026 to March 31, 2027 , with the option to extend for
up to one additional year
based on performance and operational needs.

Compensation :
45.00- $65.00 per hour

About the Role
The Corporate & Administrative Services Officer will support the organization’s leadership in managing corporate services, human resources, and operational initiatives during a period of significant organizational integration. Reporting to the CEO or their designate, you will provide guidance, operational support, and leadership across corporate services and HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate corporate services, human resources, and health & safety initiatives.
Support the CEO in implementing, monitoring, and improving internal policies, processes, and programs.
Ensure effective HR management, including staff performance, workforce planning, diversity & inclusion, and professional development.
Advise on labour relations matters, including union and non-union employee relations and collective agreement administration.
Contribute to the development and execution of annual business and strategic plans.
Support governance, policy alignment, and change management initiatives.
Provide additional services as required within the engagement scope.
Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience
in senior-level corporate services or human resources leadership roles.
Proven experience delivering
complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives .
Strong business acumen and leadership skills in
complex and evolving environments .
Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and sensitive matters independently.
Public sector experience (municipal, provincial, federal, or Crown corporations) is considered an asset.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) .
The Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP®)
designation is an asset.
Valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver’s Licence
required.
