Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a large, complex, multi-year technology infrastructure initiative supporting the buildout of a new corporate office. This requires a hands-on, highly engaged leader who brings true end-to-end project ownership from project inception and ideation through planning, execution, and delivery. We are looking for a proactive, sharp, and mature leader who understands the why behind the work, actively engages with content, asks the right technical questions, and drives outcomes. The Senior IT Project Manager will be accountable for delivery, rigor, and results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project delivery, from ideation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
Consolidate multiple project plans into a single, integrated view across workstreams
Provide leadership to a delivery team.
Oversee diverse technology infrastructure workstreams, including Network implementation; Digital workspace solutions; Meeting room technology; End-user technology (monitors, printers, laptops, etc.)
Ensure strong project management rigor, including Risk and issue management (risk logs, issue logs, mitigation plans); Artifact and documentation management; Status reporting and executive-ready communications; Financial tracking and forecasting
Maintain strong stakeholder engagement, ensuring clarity of objectives, priorities, and outcomes
Apply Waterfall project management methodology consistently and effectively.

The project manager is actively driving progress, not observing from the sidelines
Risks and issues are identified early, clearly communicated, and proactively managed
Leadership is visible, decisive, and trusted
Project artifacts, reporting, and financials are accurate, timely, and well-managed
Teams are aligned around what is being delivered and why, not just task sequencing
Required Experience & Qualifications
Must-Haves
Proven experience delivering end-to-end IT projects, from inception through execution
Strong technology infrastructure or Application project experience (deep network expertise not required)
Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi-layered project teams
Status reporting and governance
Solid understanding of formal project management practices (PMBOK-level knowledge)
High degree of maturity, leadership presence, and accountability
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly visible environment
Banking industry experience preferred.
Strategic, outcome-driven mindset with a high degree of ownership.
Strong leadership, takes full initiative, actively drives the project forward, and does not take a passive or reactive role.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable under pressure.
Nice to Have
PMP certification (not required; practical experience is valued more than certification)
