Role : Release & Change Management Lead (Azure Cloud Migration)
Years of Experience : 15+
Role Overview : We are looking for a highly experienced Release & Change Management Lead to work on-site with our customers and drive release governance across multiple portfolios and delivery teams.
This role will serve as the central coordination point for release management, environment management, and infrastructure activities while supporting a large-scale Cloud / Azure migration program.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in enterprise release management, Azure cloud environments, infrastructure coordination, and DevOps and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end release lifecycle across multiple portfolios and applications.
- Lead enterprise release planning, coordination, and governance across multiple teams.
- Support and manage releases for major Azure cloud migration initiatives.
- Act as the central coordination point between delivery teams, infrastructure teams, offshore teams, and customer stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with offshore counterparts to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely delivery of team commitments.
- Manage the environment lifecycle across the SDLC, including environment refresh, configuration, and stability.
- Coordinate environment provisioning, decommissioning, and infrastructure activities with cloud and infrastructure teams.
- Oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices across teams.
- Ensure infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform.
- Drive release automation, CI / CD improvements, and adoption of DevOps best practices.
- Manage stakeholder expectations on timelines, dependencies, risks, and scope.
Required Skills & Experience : -
Must Have
- Extensive experience in Release Management and Change Management in enterprise environments
- Experience leading releases for large-scale Azure cloud migration programs
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience managing multi-team and multi-portfolio releases
- Strong experience with environment management across SDLC
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in customer-facing environments
Good to Have
- Knowledge of ITIL-based change and release management frameworks
- Experience with DevOps automation and CI / CD pipelines
- Experience working on large transformation or cloud modernization programs
- Proven track record in large-scale enterprise programs
- Experience managing releases in cloud-native and hybrid environments
Tools & Technologies
- Monitoring & Observability : Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor and Dynatrace.
