Job Title: SME- GPP Payments
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Duration: 6 Months

Introduction

This role is for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to be the technical focal point for FGPP (Finastra Global Payment Plus) in production. The candidate will troubleshoot and solve issues in production for a minimum contract of 6 to 12 months.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong & proven FGPP issue/case analysis: triage, recreation, trace analysis, DB and GUI usage.
• Deep FGPP business and functional knowledge.
• Proven hands-on FGPP configuration experience: profiles and rules setup.
• Customer-facing experience: leading technical calls.
• Experience with FGPP (not only Classic GPP) from the last 3 years.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience managing escalations from L2 for complex and advanced issues.
• Ability to identify root causes, recreate issues, analyze traces, and provide immediate workarounds.
• Experience with payment processing and trace analysis to pinpoint issues.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage escalations and provide guidance and support for configuration changes needed to resolve issues.
• Join customer calls as needed to assist L2s, lead conversations, explain issues, provide status updates, and outline next steps.
• Collaborate closely with L1 and L2 teams to provide consultation and guidance.
