Business Development Manager
Compensation: $120K base + uncapped commission
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic prospecting and customer targeting plans
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through cold outreach, referrals, and networking
- Lead key account strategies to drive revenue growth and deepen customer relationships
- Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to prepare compelling proposals and quotations
- Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and margin targets
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience selling technology solutions to stakeholders within the defense sector (required)
- Demonstrated success in generating and converting cold leads into qualified opportunities
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals with mid-market (SME) and enterprise clients
- Strong consultative selling and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, science, business, marketing, or a related technical field
- Ongoing professional development with familiarity in modern sales methodologies
