Job description

JOB PURPOSE : The Personal Support Worker will provide personal care to clients in their homes. The PSW will be responsible for driving to and from client homes throughout the duration of their shift. The PSW duties will include personal care, peri care, and transfer assistance, with a focus on observing and promptly reporting any changes in the client's condition.

SHIFT :

  • Morning (7am-3pm)
  • Evening (3pm-11pm)
  • Nights (11pm-7am)

JOB DUTIES :

  • Perform daily health check-ups to monitor the condition and well-being of clients.
  • Provide attentive bedside care, including assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility as needed.
  • Keep detailed and up-to-date health care records, documenting observations and interventions.
  • Monitor and promptly report any changes in behavior and physical condition to the appropriate supervisor.

    • Must have :

  • PSW Program Certificate or Diploma that meets the appropriate standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ontario Community Support Association
  • Valid G License and possession of a vehicle.
  • Relevant experience of 1 year and knowledge about healthcare rules & regulation
  • Flexible to work in all shifts along with weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses a caring attitude, and good interpersonal skills.

    • Job Types : Full-time, Casual Pay : $23.00 per hour
