Administrative Assistant
Siel Human Solutions, on behalf of our client, is seeking to hire a Full Time OR Part Time Administrative Assistant to support our clients finance and admin team.
Our client is open to FT OR PT applicants and can offer flexibility in hours for the right candidate. This role may also be a good fit for a student pursuing business, accounting, or administration, with the opportunity to work full-time over the summer and negotiate hours around school during the academic year.
The successful candidate will need to be organized, dependable, positive, and comfortable working with numbers. Our client is open to training the right person if they have strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a natural aptitude for financial and administrative work.
Qualifications

- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- The following experience is considered an asset
- Previous office administration or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with payroll, accounts payable, or accounts receivable
- QuickBooks experience
- Experience working in a small business environment
- Experience using customer procurement sites such as SAP, Oracle, or ARIBA
- This position is considered safety-sensitive, the successful applicant(s) will have to take and pass a drug and alcohol test as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the finance and administration team
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Assist with payroll-related duties
- Filing, data entry, and maintaining financial records
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Support project costing and other financial tracking as needed
- Provide vacation coverage for administrative positions
- Other tasks as required to meet operational needs
